Pure and simple, my mission is to help you to achieve the vitality and robust wellbeing that you deserve through excellent nutrition and self care. I’ve been studying these topics for most of my life. As far back as elementary school, I remember being fascinated by the diets of Olympic athletes, experimenting with healing visualizations, and doing relaxation exercises. And I never stopped! Since then, I’ve formally and informally studied nutrition and wellness through a variety of disciplines. Our global knowledge of nutrition and health is ever evolving, so I will never stop studying, learning, and improving my skills as a practitioner. I work in private practice with clients, but that is limited by the number of hours in a day. I want to reach more people with this life changing and life saving information, and an online program can do just that. I'm honored to have joined forces with Dr. Tillmanns and Charlotte Ott in creating 2020 Vitality. We’ve had a lot of fun creating this and I'm very excited to help you recapture your vitality with this program!

I grew up in an Irish household with home cooked meals. The Irish are not known for their use of spices and fresh produce. This was something I was not exposed to until I was an adult. I slowly began experimenting with different cultural foods when I moved out. The big shift happened when my oldest child experienced reactions to many foods, especially processed foods. I recall his ear turning bright red and burning up after eating at a Chinese restaurant. In addition, he had behavior issues after having any type of artificial food flavor or coloring. His body rejected dairy and I struggled to find alternatives.


I began to explore and educate myself on food allergies and sensitivities. In the 90s this was an area just beginning to attract interest and there was not a lot of information written on it. I began making everything from scratch. I got really good at substituting gluten and dairy in recipes.


In 2009 I took the helm at Shoals Marine Lab kitchen as head chef. I’m proud to say that I totally transformed the menu and kitchen there - cooking everything from scratch, using local vendors, and dramatically increasing the quality, taste, and nutrition of every meal.


Although I have been working with clients in groups and privately since 2010, I continue to be amazed at the power of whole food nutrition and stress reduction in reducing chronic illness. In 2018 I added Functional Medicine to my repertoire and the results clients have experienced increased exponentially. I’m thrilled to collaborate with Dr. Regine Tillmanns and Lisa Mair to create a community of wellness and health through Vitality 2020.
